    99 Pro Air Stereo Install

    Hey guys-

Here are some pictures of the in-progress install of a new system in our 99 Pro Air. Any feedback, thoughts, comments, etc would be greatly appreciated. Curious to see everyones opinions.

A huge thank you to David and Odin at Earmark who def. went above and beyond in helping us put together a system and then working with our installers to make sure everything is good to go. I cant recommend Earmark enough.

    What we went with:

    -Clarion HU
    -4 JL VR650
    -2 WS Pro 80's
    - BA G5 10 inch sub with enclosure built by earmark
    - Alpine PDX 5 for interior and sub
    - Alpine 4.100 for Pro 80's

Thanks for taking a look and any feedback!

RE: 99 Pro Air Stereo Install

Nice looking setup...I'm confused though. The JL speakers look to be discontinued (from their website) and I couldn't find a BA G5...they have G1, G2 and G3. I'm assuming the sub is sealed...how does that sound tucked back in that compartment?

You can tell by the model numbers for the speaker size. VR650 is 6.5 in.

Thanks for the comments rlabelle. Like jchamlin said, the speakers are 6.5's. Also, to my knowledge the deck fit into the stock location without any modificiations, but i will email the marina that did the install and if see if there were any modifications and if so, I will post up on here. Good luck with the install and def. post pictures of the project!

            Fuse Terminal

Is your fuse in the same storage compartment as the batteries ? just asking because it should be within 1 foot of your battery.

              RE: Fuse Terminal

Looks to me that the fuse is on the backside of the kick panel which is going in front of the battery shown in the last pic.
Probably going to need more than twelve inches to wire it but would not hurt anything either.
