01superair: That box looks great! I have a Wetsounds XS-12 I am trying to do something similar with in that area. Do you happen to know what dimensions you ended up with on the box and what cubic ft?1999 Super Sport Nautique

Why loose the leg space? I have a 2001 and was able to place 2 x 12" subs by building a box in place of the removable storage bin on the port side, under the seat cushion by the shower knobs. This way you keep your storage under the passenger tilt-up seat. The storage under the seat of the box I removed was limited anyway so I don't think I gave up much storage. But I kept my leg space! If interested I can send pics....

This is what I am thinking of. It figures out to be .68676 ci without the sub, with the JL Audio 10W0 .65276 ci, just about what they recommend.
thoughts, comments? The 4 31/64" at the bottem of the hole to the back of the box is a little tight, the total depth of the sub is 4.9, but with the "slope" of the sub I should be fine...we'll find out.
Google sketchup is AWASOME!!
Oh yea, SN 176

Yeah, the jibes from the family when they saw my mock up was well worth all the trouble it saved me. I used fiberglass to waterproof it also after I resealed the floor where I cut out the hump. From the out side everything looks original. My sub was a WS10 though. Aluminum angle from Home Depot cut into angle brackets secures everything.
