How do you attach a panel to the side wall of the hull under the driver's area being that it is all fiberglass?Comment

It has two sided tape around the opening for the plexiglass and is stuck to it plus it is a snug fitting panel.Comment

Can't really remember what it came out to , maybe 1.25 or 1.5 cu ft. It is whatever JL recommends for a W-7 in a sealed box.Comment

Why loose the leg space? I have a 2001 and was able to place 2 x 12" subs by building a box in place of the removable storage bin on the port side, under the seat cushion by the shower knobs. This way you keep your storage under the passenger tilt-up seat. The storage under the seat of the box I removed was limited anyway so I don't think I gave up much storage. But I kept my leg space! If interested I can send pics....Comment

This is what I am thinking of. It figures out to be .68676 ci without the sub, with the JL Audio 10W0 .65276 ci, just about what they recommend.
thoughts, comments? The 4 31/64" at the bottem of the hole to the back of the box is a little tight, the total depth of the sub is 4.9, but with the "slope" of the sub I should be fine...we'll find out.

well back to the "drawing board" 17" is too tall. It hits the horn enclosure. Good thing I mocked it up in cardboard.Comment

Yeah, the jibes from the family when they saw my mock up was well worth all the trouble it saved me. I used fiberglass to waterproof it also after I resealed the floor where I cut out the hump. From the out side everything looks original. My sub was a WS10 though. Aluminum angle from Home Depot cut into angle brackets secures everything.Comment
