SAN 09, 220 stereo help please.

For whatever reason I didn’t order tower speakers in our boat which was a mistake.
The boat came with the standard Clarion head & Polk PA500.4 amp driving 6 in boat speakers & sub.
I was able to buy off EBay Clarion APX280M, APX480M amps & 4 genuine Nautique Polk 6”x9” MMC680 speakers in the Nautique cans which I believe are Titan Alpha II with Nautique emblem on them. This gear came off a 08, 206. He guy just didn’t want it, he is happy with sound from the head deck.

My tower is already wired for 2 speakers.
Since I have 4, do I just run extensions from speaker to speaker or do I have to run 2 more wires for the extra 2 speakers?
Would I use the APX280M to drive the 4 tower speakers or the 480?

Speaking from experience you're going to be disappointed if all you run is the APX280 to 4 tower speakers, some may disagree, but that's just my opinion. I guess it depends on what kind of performance you're looking to get from them.

OK, what are recomendations please?

i WOULD. I have a kicker 4 channel amp running my tower speaker now. I was a little harder running 4 sets of wires but worth it when i was finished.

Wire the tower speakers in series pairs, hook the pairs to the APX480 in bridged mode. Electronically this is equivalent to having one wire to each speaker. If you want to do some reading it's explained well at www.bcae1.com on chapters 38 and 51.
