    Wetsounds WS420

Anyone have any experience with the Wetsounds WS 420 product.
I have 4 interior momo's on one 600 watt 4 channel amp and 4 kicker 6x9's in an enclosure on the tower and a 10-inch sub on another 600 watt 4 channel amp. I use the fader to separately control the volume on the interior speakers vs. the tower speakers and the sub. All the speakers have low freq. bass filters as well.
My Clarion deck only has the usual sub, bass, treble controls for equalization. Sound and power is good and clear all the way around.
Will the WS 420 provide even better sound quality because it has more equalization
    capabilities?
I am also interested in the PA capabilities for teaching etc.
    Any thoughts anyone?

I have had mine for a month or two now and really like it. The PA was used last night to teach a few new boarders and it sure is easy to communicate with it. You dont have to yell at the top of your lungs at the rider just to say ready. The EQ is probably the best feature though as being able to tune them seperately with such ease is nice. I adjust mine for different styles of music and volume levels depending on who and where we are riding. I am sure that it will be in every boat system I have from now on.

I'm not sure that it will really improve your sound quality. While it certainly has an EQ, you will likely use it primarily as a volume adjustment device and for the mic. That said, you can take mine when you pry it out of my dead fingers.

Not sure if you will be able to hear those tower speakers at 75' plus back. You may have already checked on that, but people have not had much luck with tower speakers being audible at riding distances except for the Wetsounds, the NVS's, and the Kicker KMT6s and maybe one other one that I forget. But those 6x9's are not really designed for projecting way back. Fortunately the KMT6's are designed to project, and are inexpensive. They aren't really in the same class as the others, but they sound okay and I can hear them with them slightly underpowered at 110 watts per channel.
