someone who posted an offset tower bracket for a 485? 210?

I thought I had seen a post here regarding someone who built an offset bracket for their 485 to move it back towards the rider more? I've searched and couldn't find it, anybody remember the thread?

Why would you want to move them back? I have them on mine and everyone smacks their head climbing in off the back as it is.. Wouldn't that make it even worse?

You have an '06 with the newer tower right? That top section comes back about a foot more than mine, also, I have a DD, so thinking I could setback and situate the speaker/s over the engine/doghouse...

        Miljack,

I don't recommend hoizontally extending a heavy HLCD speaker.

Weight times distane times the shock (from chop) is a stressful combo. A 25 pound speaker could apply 100 pounds of stress to the mounts.
