He got it from me. I charged him $40 including shipping from USA to Greece. 5 out of my 6 MMC tweeters were blown, I replaced all of the speakers and sold the remaining tweeter to Andronikos.

I went from the Polk MMC650 to the db651, the major difference is that the db651 are available and cheaper. The also do not have that annoying outboard crossover. In reality the MMC650 tweeters are crossed too low anyway. Oh yeah, 4 out of my 6 crossovers also had blown tweeter capacitors so check the tweeter after the crossover if you think they are blown. I did replace two of the tweeters and reworked two of the crossovers raising the cutoff frequency. Gave those speakers to my nephew for his truck doors because they ended up looking pretty ugly.

What is a crossover? My tweeter may be OK, just the black part damaged.

Do you still have any parts? Costs to 14303?

I'd also consider buying a new set of speakers, crossovers, and grills if anyone has them for a good price... thanks in advance, alex

Alex, just sent you an email. I have a pair of 6.5 polk grills unused. Was trying to find something that would fit an older pair of polks (DB6500), but the newer ones, i.e. 651/6501's have a different hole pattern. If yours are newer, these ought to work.

I also have a grill set for a pair of 5.25" polks if anyone else is interested.
