Is the MC1 actually waterproof? Only reason i want the RF remote is so I dont have too drill into my boat more..

I also am on my second 9886M display since the other one got wet with a splash...

Alpine reps told me that no one could make a waterproof head unit....then the 118M came out...Right on.

        Ryan,

We provide detailed instructions on how to safety cut and dress an opening in fiberglass/gelcoat.

Just order what you need and request the instructions at that time.

Just to confirm, the MC10 will react like a normal wired remote because it has constant power correct? There is no delay like the RF? I just wanted to make that clear, because that's the main reason why I would order one.

Also, is there any way you can take pictures of the entire unit out of the package? It's hard to find anything but "face on" pictures on the internet.

          Thanks.

              Ryan,

The back of the Alpine remotes are reduced to a 2-inch cup that mounts just like the smaller Clarion remotes with a U-Bracket. It requires a standard gauge-size 2 1/16" to 2 1/8" penetration.

                Thank David.

PS - I PM'd you about an enclosure for a wetsounds XS-XXX subwoofer.

                Thanks.
