I put a 7 light bar on my tower.Wired it up with two 40amp relays..I grounded the lights to the light bar and and then grounded the bar to the batery. When I turn my radio on a terrible squeal comes from the speakers. The only way to make it stop is to unground the lights from the battery. The lights are wired for power directly from the battery.Did I ground it right or something im missing. The lights work fine.I just cant play the radio right now....Do I need to ground each light seperatly? Please I need help becuase I unhooked them until I figure out the problem.

I am not a stereo expert by any means, so take my suggestion as a grain of salt. But anyways, if you ground the lights to the light bar, aren't you sending that signal back through the tower, etc. What I mean is that your light bar is connected to the tower and the tower is connected to the speakers, boat, etc. Even though you ground the light bar to the battery, the ground is probably still getting sent through the tower and everywhere else. I would run the ground directly from the lights to the battery.
Like I said before, I may be totally off here, but it's just a suggestion.2008 Super Air Nautique 210TE
