Hi Jeff, I'm really curious about the usage you get out of these lights. I don't believe that is is legal (at least not in Canada) to ride at night even with lights like these. I agree they look awesome, but don't they attract bugs like crazy when lit? Thanks!

We shall see! I haven't had tower lights on my boat since my '03 210. We really don't have that many bugs around here, so I don't think that will be too much of an issue here.

As far as using them underway, that may be questionable in some areas, but since they are just white lights, I believe they would be legal here.

Riding & surfing at night is pretty much illegal everywhere. We have been known to risk it from time to time though. We always have a couple of spotters, the surfers always wear glow sticks, and we are extremely careful. That being said, I am not promoting this practice!

I have a 2009 Nautique 216V with the FCT3 tower and would like to put tower lights on it. I have searched the internet and I can’t seem to find any confirmation if tower lights will fit on this tower. Has anyone tried this? Does anyone any lights/light bars that fit? If so, what model #? If need be I am ok with running one light bar on the left side and a separate light bar on the right side.
Also, does anyone know the tubing diameter is on the upper part of the tower where the lights would potentially be installed? I would need this for potential clamps.

Thanks Jeff! I'm sure we've all "stretched" the boundaries of the law a few times. I'd never thought of attaching glow sticks to riders, good idea, not that I'm gonna try it or anything...

Monster has some new lights out. Pretty similar to all the new led off-road lights. These probably are the best looking option I have seen on boats these days besides the lights integrated in speaker pods.

Ironically my top choice for a light bar, assuming I can get them to somehow mount to the FCT 3 tower, is the Roswell C2 (Classic 2 LED) light bar. Question for you, does the dual 2 light (total of 4 lights) give plenty of light output? I was debating on trying dual 3 light bars (total of 6 lights) to ultimately run 4 lights towards the back of the boat and 2 lights forward. Your thoughts? I don't want to blind people but I also want to be safe when driving, and possibly riding, at night.

Sorry, forgot one last question. Is it true that the FCT 3 tower comes pre-wired for a light bar from the factory? I saw a few plugs in the tower but I wasnt sure if that was for speakers, lights, etc. Thanks in advance for any info on this.

There are tons of options... Don't be afraid to think a little outside the wake tower box... Check offroad and online, might get a better product and probably save some $. I have some on my tower that I love... Unfortunately the boat is out at the lake right now

I would actually prefer to do an "off road" light bar set up (ex Rigid Industries) but I wasn't sure if I would be able to adapt/attache a mount that will clamp on the tower over to the Rigid light bar. I would hate to order a ton of parts in and "hope" that it works. The light output that the higher end off road LED light bars put out is impressive. If anyone has any insight on this please please let me know.

Nautiques4life, by chance do you have them on a FCT 3 tower? If so, was the tower pre-wired for tower lights? I cant seem to find a definitive answer on this.Lastly, did you connect the lights to one of the existing light switches on the dash for install a separate one? sorry for all the questions, I am about to pull the trigger on lights this month and I want to get it right the first time.
