Sirius not working - any ideas?

My Sirius Radio is not working on my 2005 210 TE. The display reads "Invld Chnl". I can't scroll through the channels either. I called Sirius and they said the signal was fine, so it must be a problem with the head unit or something. I think I have the Clarion XMD3.

    Any ideas?

    Ok,

Not much technical insight here but this is the path that I would proceed with. If you get the preview channel(s) then the issue is your sevice subscription. A couple of easy checks are to verify that the antenna cable is well seated in the tuner and the tuner CeNet cable is well seated in the source unit. Do a source unit reset. Also, with power down, R & R the tuner's CeNet cable as a reset. To further diagnose you may need substitute products to insert in order to isolate one or the other component as the culprit. After that it would be easiest to R & R the Sirius tuner and get it bench checked at a local Clarion marine stocking dealer. All tests should be performed out from under cover. Hope this helps.

Is it parked under a shed where the signal is not available?

Not sure if this will help, but with my XM head unit in my car I have a security code that I have to enter when ever my battery is disconnected.

I enter the XM code after I enter the security code for the head unit.

Maybe an obvious question, but thought I would ask, has it ever worked? If so, what happened prior to it not working?

I've had it for a couple years and it has worked fine. It did go to the shop a few weeks ago to replace the "all-on toggle switch". Not sure what that would have to do with anything though. I cannot get any channels...even the preview channel. I can't remember if there was a code I was supposed to put in or not after the power was reset. I don't remember doing that the first time. I'll play with it some more tomorrow and see what I can figure out. Thanks.

call sirius radio and tell them to do a system reset.. it has happened to me and that worked.. be by the boat when they do it with the radio on and then they can let you know when the signal has been sent.
