Another question, I see from looking at the reference on my G2250 that it is 80W X2 @ 4ohms, and 125 x4 @ 2ohms. What setting determines the ohms output, is it a setting on the amp, or does it sense it from the speaker it is driving?

    From G2250 reference:
    Stereo, all channels driven:
    80W RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms, 125W RMS x 4 @ 2 ohms
    Bridged, all channels driven:
    160W RMS x 1 @ 8 ohms, 250W RMS x 1 @ 4 ohms

    Thanks, Jon

      Jon,

There is no switch that selects power. Per the ratings, power is determined by the speaker's or collective speakers impedance load and wiring configuration.

To bridge two channels into one speaker using the G2250, run the amplifier left positive to the speaker positive and run the amplifier right negative to the speaker negative. The amplifier left negative and right positive terminals remain unused. So you'll have a dedicated amplifier per each tower speaker.

There is no other way to wire your existing setup that would provide a benefit.
