    Stereo equipment

I'm looking to replace my 6.5" speakers & my receiver in my boat and I'm unsure on what to look for, i know i need marine audio and that's about it. I'm looking for some input on what other people have purchased. I know they have this option in some vehicles and I'm not sure if it's something in the receiver or the other electronics but I'd like to get a receiver that the volume goes higher as the motor noise gets louder. Some of the brands i was looking at were Polk and Sony, maybe some JL or Clarion.

JL 6.5's are the best in the business as far as 6.5's are concerned. Be sure and get some power to them though, dont run them off your head unit.

          Fusion MS IP600

          This is pretty cool.
Waterproof. it has a built in iPod dock, no CD, sirius direct connect ready, and ....
          it will accept an iPhone.

AM FM, Sirius, iPod, or iPhone....

Zone control so interior of boat can be at one volume, and Bow and Tower can be at another volume.

And no stinkin' bogus cord for your iPod.

This is the way to go.

              http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/north-...6-product.aspx

Class D 70 Watts per channel built in, waterproof, takes any ipod except the shuffle, easy to use interface, remote capable, charges ipod and iphone, and if the phone rings, it mutes the stereo, and you can take the call on bluetooth if you HAVE to...
