    1999 Ski Nautique Stereo Installation

This may seem like a stupid question but would someone be able to tell me where the 4th speaker is supposed to be mounted on a 1999 Ski Nautique 196? I just bought this boat and it does not have a stereo in it. I would like to install a basic stereo. I have found the 3 other locations (2 by rear seat, 1 by observers seat). Where the heck does speaker 4 go???

    Please help

    Thanks

The kick board will work. But it was around 99 or 2000 that they relocated the front speaker to a q-formz looking enclosure that was underneath the throttle. That enclosure is a part of a larger piece that includes the housing around the throttle and the driver's arm rest (there's a slot just aft of the windshield to accommodate this panel if it was an option that year.

That is 2000^ and yeah, much better for the speaker too bad it's all 1 piece there though.

Thanks for the quick replies. I had another look and I think I could mount the speaker on the kick panel facing the driver at the back between the heater vents. There really seems to be no other place. It just seems strange that there is not an obvious location like the others spots considering many of these boats came with factory stereos. It also looks as though I will have to trim some fiberglass in the other locations. Could it be because the boat was not ordered with a stereo that there is not a location?
