Just got this system and it is the real deal. I have xm in the truck and want to get xm in the boat this summer but did not want to A: pay for another service and B: install a new stereo in the 05 SANTE 210.
This option hopefully will allow me to take the xm from the truck to the boat and only have one service. I utilized the factory XM antenna from the F150 and hope to use the the xm antenna that came with the Sky Dock in the boat. My plan is to find something to stick the magnetic antenna on that is metal on the boat or just set it in a clear view place. I want to try and not have a permanent mounting location for the antenna.
I have used it in the truck for about 4 days and it works flawlessly. Have not tried it in the boat yet but hope to at least get over to storage and mess around with it some this week. I will post more pics of it in the boat. Oh yea, another cool thing is it also plays your ipod music through the cradle as well as the xm.
