Factory Interior Accent Light LED Upgrade

I know the replacement accessory bulbs in my 05 SANTE 210 are the 194's. With that being said I am looking for a good place to purchase replacement LED bulbs that are super bright and have color options? If you think changing the whole light out would be a better option then let me know that as well.

When I say accent lights I mean the ones that are in the rear storage, under the dash pods, as well as under each of the gunnels.

You can change out the bulbs in them or replace the whole light for close to the same price. Not sure why but the bulbs are pricey by themselves. Look at superbrightleds.com and ebay. Ebay has some pretty cheap deals on the replacements. I got 10 black pods with 6 lights in each for like 35 dollars shipped to my door.

Cool. I did some looking on ebay as well and got some really cheap ones (a set of 10 blue with 4 LED's per) for like $10 bucks shipped. If they are not that good then I am not out that much. The seller stated that they were super bright so we will see when they arrive.

Be careful when order the ones from ebay. the ones I got were POS compared with the ones from superbrightleds.com . I ended up just trashing the ones from ebay.

I suspect based on the price I paid for the ebay ones they will be trash as well. We will see. Thanks for the reply.

            Hlymons,
Do you remember which ones you got? Just curious I went to the superbrightleds.com and they have so many leds it is confusing as to what is what and why? I would like the blue color but not sure the blue lights are going to be bright enough so I may have to go back with white.

              Super Bright

              http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...D_LED_tube.htm

              swancer - follow the link above- I have the 7" & 12"
on my boat (blue) and they both are plenty bright - very nice quality for the buck. Where are you placing them? - I used 12" in the side gunnels for interior light and 7" in the vent screens in the back of the boat for a little accent. Replaced the coast guard red/green navigation light on the bow and put a 7" red (port) and a 7" green (starboard) in the front scoop areas just under the front windshield for the navigation lights. Can post a few pics if anyone is interested.

The pods that I got off of ebay were the exact same ones on superbrightleds and it was 5 bucks cheaper. Just be really sure of what you are buying.

MLA - you can see the glow easily but is it enough? I don't know. Good thing is I live on a fairly private lake, the police patrol is here about twice a year and stay for an hour or two and then they move on to the larger more populated lakes. Night patrols are non-existent on this lake. i f I lived on a heavily patroled lake I would probably have the sheriff check me out at night and tell me if I meet the standards to avoid a conflict Her's a pic from about 120 degrees or so for a reference, sorry it's blurry but you get the picture on the glow.
