JL Audio 13TW5???

Has anyone used this yet. I cant find any shop in my area with one in stock to demo it. I am thinking of relocating my subs to the drivers footwell and i am looking for options to my the install easier. i.e. not cutting out the cooler and relocating my heater. also i will be selling my sub box and subs as a result of this. check out the link in my signature to see my sub box.

I'm very curious as well, I've heard lots of good reviews, but have yet to see one, or hear from someone who has used one in a boat.

Cam,

The JL Audio 13TW5 is the best shallow woofer available by a wide margin. Its sound quality is indistinguishable from their conventional woofers which are outstanding. Its a great problem solver when you have either depth or displacement challenges.

For the sake of comparison with another JL Audio woofer of the same size, a 13W6V2 will deliver a little more output with a little less power but requires twice the displacement to do so.

Your woofer and enclosure-type selection should be dictated by your application.

Start by designing the shape and maximum displacement of your ideal enclosure to fit the targeted location and this should decide the best choice of driver.
