iPod adapter for Clarion CMD4???

In reference to a 2006 SANTE, is there an iPod adapter for the Clarion CMD4 head unit that will allow operation of the iPod via the head unit/remote? It is the early-model CMD4, not the later CMD4A. Thanks?

Yes there is, the controll of the ipod is limited to a few playlist and i would recomend using the aux in on the deck with and extra long rca cable so you can have total controll over the ipod fuctions.

I ran RCA extensions from the stereo around the bow and over to the drivers chair at the cubby pocket on the right.. Then I can connect my Iphone from there and not have people tripping over a long cord. Totally worth the effort IMO..

Somebody different solutions? The EA1251B is not compatible with the Iphone 3G or 3GS.
