I've gathered a lot of information from the site about wiring my new stereo properly, but I wanted to run my ideas by you guys to make sure I've covered everything.
The system will consist of an Alpine 4.100 and an Alpine PDX-5. I currently have 2 batteries hooked up on a perko switch.
All wire marine grade pre-tinned.
1/0 gauge power wire from the common post on the switch thru a fuse, then to the amps, with a fused distribution block just before them.
1/0 gauge ground wire back to the battery I want to run the stereo on. Or should I run it to the location where all of the batteries are grounded?
Source unit power and ground run to the amps power source, not wiring harness.
Also considering adding a ProSport 20 dual bank charger as many people have suggested.
Thanks for the help all.
