    Pro 485's on a 2004 SANTE

I was wondering if it is possible to run two Pro 485's on a 2004 SANTE. I use the bimini and have to fold the tower to put the boat in my garage. I'm just wondering if the Pro 485's will conflict with anything...

I run 485s on my 2005 211 tower. The speakers come off and the tower comes down after every outing, takes me about 5 minutes. I have the old U style clamps and changed the lugnuts to botton head allen socket bolts so I can use my screwgun to zap them on/off. The new clamps are easier/quicker to disconnect, just need to loosen one bolt. It's a tight fit with the bimini, my bimini rides up against the speakers but it works just fine. This will be my 5th summer with the same setup.

You'll probably lose some headroom with the 485's.. I had to move my bimini down just a little, but it was worth it!! haha! You could always leave the 485's on and put the tower down.. but you better have some help.. those things arent light by any means!

Mike, I've got the new clamps, and I have to take two screws out to take mine off? How can you do it by only taking one out?

Zander, my bad, I have never actually taken down the new ones, I am sure you have it right. Do you use a screwgun too?
