So I'm planning the stereo for my 2010 SANTE 230. Right now, I've got 2 Wetsounds 485's, 6 wetsounds xs-650 interior speakers, 1 wetsounds XXX 12'' sub, a ws420 eq, 1 syn1 amp and 2 syn4 amps. I'm considering buying another XXX sub and syn1 amp to cover my bass needs.
I've been trying to figure out what to do about powering this system. Wetsounds went with these new batteries from www.xspowerbatteries.com in their show boat for 2010. I figured that if those batteries were good enough for ws, then they'd be good enough for me. I did some research and found out that xs is located outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. I was in Knoxvegas last weekend to visit a few friends so I set up a meeting with Nathan from xs to get the lowdown on their batts.
Nathan was very convincing, knew his product well, and I left with two of the xs 3100 series batteries. These monsters weigh 80lbs each. I can't wait to get everything hooked up and not have to worry about popping speakers and dead batteries like I did ALL last summer.
Anyway, check out their site guys. I'll do a full writeup when I get the install going in May.
