    NO. that is a mono amp i believe and the speakers should not be wired together like that. read owners manual. i believ it says 4 ohms only.

      I would contact wetsounds and ask them. It is possible to wire two speakers in parallel, then wire each pair in series to achieve a 4 ohm load. your amp is stable between 1.5 and 4 ohm loads.

          Series the left two. Series the right two. Tie the left and right circuits in parallel. Your final impedance will be 4-ohms where the amplifier will deliver its full rated power. BTW, if you use both amplifier terminals, this automatically parallels.

          Just wondering. Does the place you bought your amplifier from offer technical assistance?

            The place I bought my amp does have tech support but, they are not experianced in marine audio. I kinda thought that was the purpose of this forum, to provide a place to ask questions and get answers from people that have had similar experiances.
