Is it worth upgrading to a Clarion CMD 6 stereo.

I just purchased a 2007 210 SE. The head unit in the boat currently is a Clarion CMD4. I plan on adding two remotes, ipod adaptor, and all the necessary cords. The components to these two stereos are not compatible so should I upgrade to a CMD6 and then buy all the right components or stay with the CMD4 and go that route.

Theyre about $300 at West Marine.
    3 year warranty.
ipod goes right into the unit, no cords, charges as you go, waterproof, and.... iphone fits in it too.

No CD player. 3 year warranty.

I am going to answer my own thread. Upgrading a CMD4 to a CMD6 is worth it, if you are upgrading your whole stereo system. What made the difference for me was that the IPOD interface on the CMD4 sucked. If I already had everything including the remotes. I would probably stay with my CMD4 HU. In my case I was purchasing two remotes, extension cables and the Y connector and IPOD interface to upgrade my stereo. I think it's with it to spend the extra $300 to $350 to upgrade the HU.
