    Wow wet sounds

I had the opportunity to hear some wetsounds from behind yest. Wow they live up to the hype. The boat pulled away and at 500 yards I could still hear it well enough to sing along. So if anyone wants to donate a pair to me, that would be great.

If that is true, I'm sure there is some irritated boat and home owners who don't like to be forced to listen to someone's music!

What does it matter what they were playing? To each his own. Some like rap, some like rock, some like country, and by the sounds of it.....some like oldies. Not sure why it is a sin to play rap music loud but it is ok to play other music loud......that doesn't make any sence at all. And by the looks of your boat (pictured) Click image for larger version

ID:	359871you have tower speakers too. So does that make it ok for you to play loud music as long as it is not rap? Sorry to come off so harsh but I am tired of hearing complaints on which type of music is ok to play loud. People at my lake B**ch and complain at me if I have hip hop on, but want it louder if it is something they enjoy (like country or oldies). I am tired of hypocritical people making stupid complaints. You can't say it is ok to play one kind of music loud and another kind not loud (as long as someone is not playing music with cursing loud, then you would have a complaint). My thoughts on loud music are.......It is ok to play loud as long as it is not late at night, does not havie cursing, and is coming through a good sounding system without distortion. if you want peace and quite, move to the mountains not the lake where people are out having fun. BTW, sorry to highjack the thread.....AND keep rocking on WETSOUNDS!

i personally try not to play vulgar rap over the tower, but sometimes it just has to happen. i agree, if you don't like people enjoying themselves on the water you probably shouldn't live there, or build yourself a private lake. it's god's water.

Wow! I guess I touched a nerve ? Just for the record I don't care what you play on your wetsounds no matter how bad it is.

No nerves touched. Just don't understand the thumbs down with the "Was he playing rap music?" coming from someone who has tower speakers on their boat. I didn't see the point in the comment on a thread that was speaking of how great someone thought the Wetsounds were. I may have understood it a little more if you didn't have the tower speakers and if you didn't comment on the genre of music being played. I guess I look at it as being racist and that is not how I was raised. Not trying to upset anyone on here just stating my opinion. Sorry if I came off a little harsh. Also for the record the only Wetsounds on my CC is a WS420.

If someone doesn't like Country Music are they racist against rural Americans? If someone doesn't like Sanatra are they racist against Itilian's? If someone doesn't like La Bamba music are the racist against Mexicans?

IT IS NOT RACIST TO NOT LIKE A CERTAIN KIND OF MUSIC, IT IS PREFERENCE.

Your right FATBOY but someone opening their pie hole on a public forum the way he did is acting racist IMO. Some people just should think before they say something that might offend others. You never know who out there may be or not be of a different race and related to a famous hip hip artist. So the fact of the matter still stands. THEIR IS NO REASON TO BRING UP THE QUOTE AND INSERT A THUMBS DOWN ICON," Were they playing rap?" on a post about how loud a pair of Wet Sounds are.

BTW was you username picked because you are describing yourself to others on here? This is a community for Nautique friends not a dating network. Jsut kidding but you see my point now on making racist comments that have nothing to do with the topic. I am sure your username is probably linked to how much you like Harley Davidson's or something like that. Not trying to be an a** just trying to prove a point.

I love this post..... Vent it out there, you will all feel better.

I like all music, always have, but I gain a better Appreciation for "Rap" music after I watched the movie 8 Mile with Emeinem (i think I spelled that right). For all you people who don't like Rap, rent the movie

I admit, I watch the selection of music I play based on the ages in and around the boat. When I purchased my W/S I realized most people within a 100 yard radius had to listen to the music I was listening to, so I try to watch out of respect!!!!

I did use "Explict Rap" to drive a couple boats away in the past. All tied up in the cove and this pontoon anchors pretty close to the rest of us. We were there first all reflexing. He kept floating into us, then the kids started jumping off the boat getting water in all our boats. We asked nice to move further away and the drunk DAD began to say it is a free lake, which I agree with, but when you have a 20# mushroom Anchor and a 27' Pontoon, we are just looking out for the 200K in ski boat tied together. So I played "DJ Assault" (you can look up the song on Itunes) and the wife looked at us then asked her husband to move the boat. The best part is the kids were loving and dancing to the song.

Hahaha....DJ Assault is hilarious. If I were out with my family, I'd probably have to split too. I bet you were throwing out some high-5's after that.

We have a track for special situations like the houseboat incident you describe, its by Mickey Avalon and those that have heard it know which one it is.
