You missed my point, I don't see anything in the quote above that is racist. The OP was simply stating his opinion about rap music which he is entitled to.

I have always been called FatBoy cause I am fat. I played Center on my High School Football team and that's when they started calling me that and it stuck. PC is going to be the downfall of this great country of ours. This is not intended towards you but in most cases of a "PC INFRACTION" I say; "Stop crying and grow a set."

I was going to let your ignorant comment go but it seems you cant. To accuse me to of being a racist because I may not like Rap is beyond belief. You bring up how you were raised. I wonder? I am so sick and tired of people bringing up race every time they dont agree with someones opinion. And furthermore to use the rap as your poster child to support is a poor choice indeed. Do you play gangster rap for you parents, wife, daughter and church? I think not. Its true I dont like most rap or seafood or rice burners or many other things. Racist because I dont like rap? how ridiculous is that. I do like Alicia keys, Rihanna, Kesha, Black eyed peas and even some Eminem so where does that put me on your race card. I like all good music with a good theme and up beat lyrics. I must say I dont like your comment I hope its not the real you. I didn't see the point in the comment on a thread that was speaking of how great someone thought the Wetsounds were. I may have understood it a little more if you didn't have the tower speakers and if you didn't comment on the genre of music being played. I guess I look at it as being racist and that is not how I was raised. Not trying to upset anyone on here just stating my opinion. Sorry if I came off a little harsh.

Your right FATBOY but someone opening their pie hole on a public forum the way he did is acting racist IMO. Some people just should think before they say something that might offend others. You are right Nautiquehunter. My comment was some ignorance on my part and for that I am sorry. I was not trying to accuse you of being racist, just your comment. I should have chose my words a little better. But if you are truely sick and tired of people bringing up race everytime they don't agree with someones opinion I would just not make hypocritical comments. I still stand behind my original post that there was no point in making the comment you originally did on this thread. This is the second and very last time I will appoligize for my previous post. If you really wonder on how I was raised be sure to hit me up once they invent the time machine and I will be more than happy to show you around my childhood.

Nowhere on this thread did I ever remotely indicate that I liked or played for my family GANSTER RAP, did I? Nor do I use it as my poster child. If I am not mistaken I think I stated it is ok to play loud music as long as it is not late at night, there is NOT CURSING, and it is coming from a good sound system without distortion. By ganster rap I assume that you are reffering to strong explicit language music, correct? I promiss you I will not be playing "ganster rap" for my children or using it as my poster child.......but my wife and parents are adults and can choose to listen to what they wish. As for my church, I am pretty sure you don't want to start a religious beliefs forum so lets just leave that one alone. what does it matter what they were playing? To each his own. Some like rap, some like rock, some like country, and by the sounds of it.....some like oldies. Not sure why it is a sin to play rap music loud but it is ok to play other music loud......that doesn't make any sence at all. And by the looks of your boat (pictured) [ATTACH]7803[/ATTACH]you have tower speakers too. So does that make it ok for you to play loud music as long as it is not rap? Sorry to come off so harsh but i am tired of hearing complaints on which type of music is ok to play loud. People at my lake b**ch and complain at me if i have hip hop on, but want it louder if it is something they enjoy (like country or oldies). I am tired of hypocritical people making stupid complaints. You can't say it is ok to play one kind of music loud and another kind not loud (as long as someone is not playing music with cursing loud, then you would have a complaint). My thoughts on loud music are.......it is ok to play loud as long as it is not late at night, does not havie cursing, and is coming through a good sounding system without distortion. If you want peace and quite, move to the mountains not the lake where people are out having fun. Btw, sorry to highjack the thread.....and keep rocking on wetsounds!
