hey there, i bought a xmd1 i think it is from someone on here, its the one where u need the homemade ipod cord. i need a remote for it. if anyone has one let me know. you can just PM me if u would like. thanks

I'm not sure if the XMD1 has a changer input provision like the XMD3 in order to utilize a custom input cable. Maybe someone could confirm this.

We have remotes that will work with the XMD1 and may only have a conflict between 'pause' and 'mute' functions with all other functions operational.

The XMD1/XMD2 manual has a section describing the wired remote control unit and its operation, so it does have support for a remote. It specifically mentions a remote model number M101RC, if that's any help.
