adjust stock kicker amp (help)

What or how do i set the three adjustment knobs on the kicker amp. The boat is a 2004 210 TE, i went to adjusting the knobs on the amp and jacked it all up, now it sounds like crap,, any help or ideas would be helpfull. I hate to drag my boat to a stereo shop for adjustment and spend 100 dollars. Thanks guys

I have kicker amps in my boat too. I am not sure what model amp you have, but I downloaded a PDF owners manual from the Company website. There is a section in there about 'How to set up your amp / reccomended settings procedure. Hopefully that will help.

amp question

is my tower speakers connected to amp 1 or 2? I cant tell when i am adjusting them, i dont want to blow my speakers in the boat and stuff, Thanks for all your help

if your local stereo shop charges anything to adjust your amp i would be suprised! most all shops would do that for free

You can turn all the gains down to zero and then turn them up a little bit one by one and see which amp controls what. I always turn everything down and then do the tower speakers until I get them where I like them, write down where I have everything, and then turn it back down and do the interiors, etc. by isolating each component you can get a better idea of how it sounds individually. Sometimes you can hear things you think are coming from one component that are actually coming from another. Let me know if you have any additional questions on what does what.
