2006 220 SANTE best audio upgrade?

I want to upgrade my 220 SANTE audio but don't know what is best to start with. I have the Clarion cmd5 head unit and would like to add Ipod control but see you can't control Iphone with it. Looked at upgrading to CMD6 unit and remote that would control it. Also would like to run tower speakers and sub together only for sessions and not cabin. And would like more bass output and make tower speakers louder, change amp mabey? thanks for any help.

Did you ever do an audio upgrade? I just bought an 06 220 and would like to upgrade the stereo but don’t know where to start.

Hey guys - I have the same boat. I abandoned the head unit that is in the glove and installed the Rockford Fosgate marine head unit. The back of the unit is the same size as a cup holder or transom remote. I have all new Skar Audio marine 6.5" throughout and (2) 12" Skar Audio EVL 2500watt subs. Pushing a total of 5000 watts. Tower speakers consist of (2) Wet Sounds 10" tower speakers. All being powered by an aftermarket alternator and two deep cycle marine blue top Optimas. The entire cove can hear the tunes and the water ripples around the boat. PM me if you need any help.

I abandoned the head unit and remote and installed the jl audio bt control in the place of the clarion remote. It fits inside the circle in the dash.

One of the best audio upgrades has got to be a surf pipe or fresh air exhaust. Totally changes the whole experience and Highly recommended.
