If im not wrong these are what Skylon is calling there Def Com 5 speakers they are going for like $16 to 1,800, They are using Image Dynamics Horn Loaded Compression Drivers (or HCLD) thats the center tweeter, And 2" 8 or 10 inc mid bass drivers. I cant tell from the photo but they look like 8's. I have always liked Image Dynamics (ID) stuff and Im glad to see Skylon using there speakers. I have not heard them yet but I can bet with the correct amp they sound great.
These are the first HCLD speakers I have seen to compete with the NVS speakers.
I have also heard that there is a carbon fiber version. :lol:
