For a stand alone amplifier bridge a Wetsounds Syn2 for 700 watts to a single Pro485. Its a little over the top but if you tune it right and use it correctly you shouldn't have a problem. Use a Syn4 four-channel bridged into two channels for 800 total watts or 400 watts to each Pro485 when using a pair. If you are running a single Pro485 then it might be more cost-effective to use half of a bridged Syn4 to the single Pro485 and use the other half of the amplifier to drive a subwwofer or in-boat coaxials. A JL Audio HD750/1 fullrange monoblock is a super amplifier to drive a pair of Pro485s.
