We have pre-built bandpass enclosures loaded with the JL Audio 10W6, 12W6 or 13W6. The 10-inch model comes in two variations, a long and short to fit a wider variety of compartments. These are coated in a thick black waterproof polyurethane (think Rhino bed liner). It takes too long and is too expensive to design and test a complex enclosure like this based on speculation or for woofers that we don't use. Bandpass is tricky and there is no guarantee that a given woofer will like this application. We stick with what is proven. With 6 dB of output boost there is going to be little that is comparable for its size.
Nor is there a better woofer to use for this purpose. If you have interest then contact us privately.

BTW, I failed to mention this above and its important to note. Enclosures are not generic, rather they should be designed for a specific set of woofer parameters. Woofers are not interchangeable. This is more true with a bandpass design versus any other enclosure type. There is no such thing as an off-the-shelf solution. A universal bandbass enclosure is a sonic disaster.

I had good success replacing the factory 10'' polk speaker in my friend's 2008 210 with a XSFA10 (free air sub) from wetsounds. Just my .02 for those who want to retain the factory sub location in the 230 or 210...
