    Amps & remote level control

My current Hifonics sub amp has a small remote that allows me to adjust the bass from the driver seat. I want to add a set of tower speakers and would like a similar remote to adjust the tower speaker volume. I'm not very educated regarding this, but I think most of these built in "phone cable" amp remotes normally only work to adjust the bass level. Will this JL HD-RLC controller and the correct amp work for my needs?

    Shooter,
Jl Audio has both EQ controllers and Volume controllers for their various models of amplifiers. Not all are interchangeable.
The JL Audio CL-RLC line driver/controller combination will work with any brand or model of amplifier and has the advantage of lowering the noise floor and increasing the dynamic range. Audio Control has a similar version plus the Kicker ZXM-RLC provides dual zone line amplifiers/controllers.
All the above options offer control at your fingertips and keep you from long to and from audio signal paths.
You can reference these products on our site.

Easiest thing is just add a PAC LC1 if the JL won't do what you want.

Thanks guys! The CL-RLC controller is what I have been looking for. I wanted to avoid running RCAs to and from the helm.

My bad, I should have looked more closely. Those are nice devices. They would have been nice options on my old boat. I will probably suggest them to my friends running systems without preamps.
