    CMD5 / 2 BSS remotes / CCAIPOD

So it looks like if you connect the ipod through the CCAIPOD cable you get full control (somewhat) from the head unit and limited control through the remotes like skip fwd and back, etc. Can anyone confirm what functionality you actually get on the remotes? Do remotes show the track name? Pause work? Both remotes work? etc?

    Thanks!

I guess the more I think about it will the h2owaves work with the 2 remotes and the ipod connected through the ccaipod cable? What functionality will you have through the fob?

This is the setup I have. The h2o waves will pause, skip, replay, rewind, and change sources. Don't try to switch playlists with the head unit. Grab the Ipod queue up a playlist and plug it in. The CCAipod is not iphone compatible, that's the only thing that bugs me about my setup. I might get an outboard bluetooth to Aux adapter. I have seen a few. That way I can play my iphone via bluetooth offering a different set of options. I do like that the CMD5 will select between an ipod and aux in. I also anticipated playing mp3 cds but have not done that too much.
