I'm considering options for a subwoofer system install im my 2003 SAN.

It will likely go under the glove box area behind the observer seat, but has anyone ever cut out the pannel behind the mesh pocket in the walkway for a bit if extra volume.???

It's likely a panel that contributes to rigidity to a degree, but cutting a hole in it should not negatively effect that.

Yes, that is the way to go. You can add a trim ring around the interior or exterior (which ever is applicable) of the vent to restore rigidity or add a KingStarboard patterned vent.

I dont think it affects the integrity of the wall at all. I left the support bracket in there. I think I used like a 90% screen or something along those lines from Home Depot. You cant even tell that its not factory.
