I've been looking through the alternator upgrade threads and pictures and I don't see anything about replacing the 50amp breaker when upgrading to the 100amp alternator. Also seen some debate on Wakeworld about what that breaker is actually protecting, general consensus seems to be the wiring harness to the dash. That would mean the breaker stays and the lack of a larger one with the PCM kit would confirm this. Is this correct?
Piecing the upgrade together since I have to adapt it somewhat to the Pro Tec system anyway, and that will be changing back to a distributor at some point in the future when it finally gives up. Just trying to make sure I've got all the pieces together before I begin dismantling things this weekend, don't want to have the boat out of commission if the wind stops blowing.
