Driver Remote Won't Do Presets

I have a 2008 230. I have Sirius on board and for some reason my presets are not being picked up by the remote device in the drivers pod. I can scroll through all channels, but it won't go through my 18 preset channels like my '05 210 did.

Is this supposed to be the way it is? I've asked my shop and they haven't been able to provide any direction or sure fire answers. I can't imagine that my stereo is functioning correctly, but wanted to get some feedback from all of you.

Anyone in the same situation? If so, have you tried anything to rectify it? If you have the same year boat and yours works, that tells me there is an issue that should be rectified.

In case anyone is interested, I have been working with Clarion Marine and it has been determined that the remote does not go through presets, but channel by channel with the 2008 stereo. The old model would utilize presets and the new model gives the choice of presets and all channels. A little disappointing, but at least I now know mine is working correctly.
