I had the boat home this week for a cleaning. I started fooling around with the stereo last night. It had the original Head unit connect directly to the 4 speakers. I had a Clarion 480 AMP sitting in the garage + a sub from my 210. So I mounted the AMP and rewired the 4 interior speakers. Sounded a 100% better. Then I started playing with the sub. Where to put it. I started pulling out the wood and saw to build a custom box for under the bow, but decided I didn't feel like building the box. So I redid the fiberglass sub out of my 210. Re-caulked and bolted the back panel to get a better air seal. Mount the sub in the rear truck. I would have liked it to be more open, but it hits just hard enough to those morning ski runs, which is the only time the boat gets used.
I was amazed I did the whole project without a trip to Lowes or stereo shop...zero invested.
