Clarion Head Overheating

The HU on my dxz545mp gets very hot and the display scrambles and then wont change tracks.
I don't have it hooked up to the internal amp but to a 600 watt jensen and a 600 watt sony amp.
One is powering 4, 6x9 kickers on the tower and one is powering 4 polk momos and a sony 10" sub.
They are hooked to a separate battery and when I am running I have my 100 amp alternator on my 99 GT-40
charging the batteries by having my perko switch set to all.

Any thoughts?
