Sub Placement Ideas for 2002 SAN

I got a bunch of Ideas from this forum and a lot of great advise, so now that I have put in my system and heard how good it sounds, I feel I should put some pictures up to show what I ended up doing and maybe it will give others good Ideas too.
I liked the idea of building the down-firing sub box in the open space behind the drivers seat, but that is where I usually have a lage ice chest and the jump seat. When the jump seat is rear facing up front, it limits access to the drivers seat and the front of the boat,so it is usually behind me. I had a box built and sealed inside the Jump seat. It's the percect size for a 10" down-firing Sub. I added "banana plugs" to the back of the seat so it is still movable or removable if I ever wanted to.

I added a second Battery primarilly to run the stereo and isolated for when we are tired up with friends not running the Motor.
I replaced the Stock stereo with the Alpine CDA-9886M. My thoughts are in the future, for only $200, I can easily add a remote to the Transom with this unit.
I already had a 450watt 2 channel kicker amp running tower speakers so I added a Power Bass 5 channel, 1400watt amp. (4 channels for the interior speakers) and 1channel (400watt) for the sub.
I Replaced the interior speakers with Memphis 6 1/2's And Added the 10" Memphis Sub (300 watt). The Jump seat is still functional to be moved to the front if I want to, but I did not run more wires to that spot, so I would lose the sub if I wanted to have the seat up front. ( I never move it)
I ran all new, upgraded, signal and speaker wires to the entire system.

Very interesting idea! What material did you use to build the box inside the seat?

I had it built at the stereo shop. They used MDF and covered the face with speaker box felt. It is a completely sealed box that fits up inside the seat. weighs about 65 pounds.
