There are a few pics of 2 - 485's on that model tower in their gallery. Yes they will fit well. You may want to hold out just a bit longer as there are rumors of a redesign with the Rev series being installed in them.Jason

Yep, I am running two on mine. You have to push them all the way out to the edge, but it works. Nice wrap by the way. Who did it? That looks like a dorsey trailer so I assume you are in Texas?2001 Super Air Nautique

Nauti 210,
I like a pair of Pro485s. With the width and squareness of that tower I don't believe there is a need to go with the 3-Some due to width. The Pro485s have a more compact hang heigth than the Pro80s...plus the sound quality of the Pro485s is better. The Pro485s are more economical to run as well from an amplifier standpoint. You can get the absolute best from a pair of Pro485s with a bridged Syn4 while the 3-Some really needs a Syn6 to sound their best.

Nauti 210,
The Pro485s are rated at 300 watts continuous power. Going over the top with a bridged Syn4 will deliver 400 watts per side which is absolutely welcomed. Dual Syn2s is 233 percent the rated power. That's risky. Yes, people have done it and the peak power is a bonus. The continuous power is not because the speaker will be into serious dynamic compression before you use all that continuous power. Think of it this way. 1400 total watts divided by four eight-inch drivers. How many 8-inch woofers, which are much heavier, will legitimately handle 350 watts each.

Thanks, its a fun boat. Yes I do have the Syn 4 bridged. I have heard two Syn 2's on a similar setup, but honestly not worth the extra money. I have buddies tell me to turn it down while riding because its so loud. Not many can say that....2001 Super Air Nautique

I run a pair of 485's on my tower pushed by 2x Syn 2's dedicated to the tower. I only have about 20 hours on the new amps, they replaced an amp that was underrated at 500 watts/channel. I'm not hearing a huge difference but I am still getting it dialed in and have not pushed it that hard yet. My 485's are the #2 production units, still running strong after 5 years. They do smell a bit like burnt toast from time to time...
