hi there. I am redoing the system in my 02 air TE. I took the bow speakers off the head unit and am going to run all 6 speakers and the sub off of a 1000 watt 4 channel amp. Does anyone know how I should wire the speakers to get the most out of them?

Two options:
1) Run the pair of bow speakers off two channels and run the four cockpit speakers in parallel, two per each of the other two channels.
2) Series all three speakers on each side and bridge the four-channel amplifier into two channels.
Once everything in the four-channel mode is gained to be in balance, the above two scenerios will yield about the same output.

Ultimately you should have five or six (two bridged to the sub) total channels to run six fullrange speakers and a subwoofer. Any alternate wiring scheme will create a major loss of power.
You can use several impedance-matching autoformers on the highpass speakers to protect the amplifier from an inordinately low impedance. However, to get the right power handling the autoformers will cost more than a small two-channel amplifier to drive the bow speakers.
With that much power, running the bow speakers of the HU is a poor option on several levels.
