After measuring, and allowing for some overage I only have a 10' power/ground run(20' total). I'll be running the kicker zx350.2, clarion apx480m, and jl m1400. Powering the 2 bow speakers @ 4 ohms stereo on ch. 1&2, and the 4 cockpit speakers @ 2ohms stereo on ch. 3&4 on the clarion, the kicker amp 175x2@ 2 ohms stereo, and jl audio for my sub. Will the 150 amp work, and do I need a relay? Cmd3 h/u.

David....You indicated that "code says that the fusing should be within 7-inches of the battery. That's not always possible but get as close as you can." How do most of the boat manufacturers get around this. Many manufacturers run the fuses 10 feet + away from the battery.

18" or less is what I thought. Update: the clarions ch. 3&4 don't work anymore. I'm going to run the 4 cockpit speakers off ch. 1&2 @ 2 ohms stereo. The bow speakers will not be hooked up.
