We have 2 of the interstatebatteries right now with the 4 position perko (1,2,1+2, off).
So I am guessing that in TX, 2 deep cycle batteries could be sufficient.
Alternatively, I could keep one starting battery (or dual purpose) on position 1 and one deep cycle on position 2 in the boat. Using the starting to start and while engine is running on position 1, with the deep cycle left off until use of the stereo with the engine off is desired on position 2. Then the deep cycle could be taken home after each use and fully charged at home.
We just simply do not have access to power where we store out boat.
