Signature Dash - Remote and Depth gauge placement

Yesterday I took my new boat out and realized how much I relied on the depth gauge. We went into a couple areas of the delta since we were touring and idled into the mud twice. I guess my judge by sight technique was not as good as I thought.

Now I have the deisre to add a depth gauge to my Signature Edition SV211, I also want to add the stereo remote.

Any suggestions? It needs to look like it belongs there not like some of the stuff I have seen added to the side. All of the factory gauges are flush mounted. See attached picture.

This is always a good spot... Normally used for the Fire Boy Automatic Extiguisher "guage"

Thanks Austin, I don't like the gauges there because they look like an afterthought, the stock gauges are staggered and recessed.

I was just talking to a coworker over lunch and realized that the indash voltmeter is somewhat redundant since the perfect pass has a digital voltmeter, I will probably pull the voltmeter for the depth gauge.

I may replace the ignition key pod with one that allows installation of the stereo remote.

        I also thought of

I agree Mike , pull the voltmeter. and get the Faria depth guage. that way it's clean , you and always relocate the VM to the engine cavity for diag if you want to.
