Hi,
I just recently purchased a new 2012 SAN 230 and will be doing some stereo Mods to it. The system I was considering is as follows:
Amps:
2 x JL Audio MHD600/4 - 3 channels for in boat speakers and 1 bridged channel for 4 tower speakers
1 x JL Audio MHD750/1 - Mono for Sub
Speakers:
In boat and rotating tower speakers all replaced with
4 Sets of Focal 165 KRC's
Roswell Horn Tower Speakers remain stock
Sub:
Stock sub removed and cavity to be foam filled and fiber glassed to seal it.
Sub replaced with JL Audio 10W6V2
Clarion head unit to remain stock as to keep LINC system functionality.
I am wondering if anyone has any experience with any of these components in the boat?
Big questions are with the sealing of the stock sub location? Has anyone else done this? how did it turn out?
Also how is the quality of the stock Roswell horn tower speakers? Are they clear? Can they handle a decent amount of power?
