    2004 SV-211 Stereo Questions / Trailer Rust

I purchased the 2004, SV-211 I wrote about in an earlier post. 1st Nautique and she's a beauty. 2 questions:

    1) Has stock Clarion stereo, Sirius ready. There is no MP3/IPod input ports on stereo. Is there a easy, quick, and/or cheap way to fix this? I'm not inclined at all to change out the stereo because it sounds fine. But it would be nice to use my IPod.

    2) Trailer has rock chips that have minor surface rust. Not bad, and definitely not needing paint. But, ss there a easy "DIY" trick to keep the rust from getting worse?

    Tks.

You should have the clarion h/u. On the back there is a pair of RCA jacks to plug an iPod cord into. I do not remember what colors they are, but the manual should be located on this site or via google. Are you in brackish or salt water? If so, that trailer will rust out in a few years.

Thanks, I'll look for those RCA jacks. Boat was in Arizona, freshwater only. I'm in Northwest, freshwater only. Rust won't be an issue at all. Rock chips are on the frame rails from the tongue to fender, and on the fronts of the fenders. Not too many of them, but the ones that made it to bare metal have rusted on surface. Paint is otherwise perfect. Just don't want the surface rust to become a larger issue over time.

There should be three total pairs of RCA jacks. Front, rear/sub, and aux.
