    Help making backpack stereo

I want a small, non bulky pack, like a small camel back with a pair of speakers mainly to use longboarding(skate) so I can still hear my surroundings. Any help on equipment would be great. I guess the confusing part to me is how to give the speakers power.

I made a custom beanie for snow boarding that I sewed little speakers into.. I used a couple of the speakers that were used in those singing card's, and just took a regular headphone jack and spliced them all together. They were alot louder then I thought they were going to be.. Might not work for your project but they are so cheap that it might be worth looking into..

What kind of board do you have? I got into it last April and really enjoy it. Have a Landyachtz bamboo pinner and a recently acquired Earthwing Belly Carver.

I'm on a sector 9 burleigh(a drop through) with abec 11 retro 83a freerides. I've been into it for about a year and hate I did not start younger. I plan to get a land yacht switch with some randal 180's sometime soon. Or a loaded tan tien. Two of my buddies have bhangras and they are crazy. We have horrible, straight, short hills around here so I'm trying to get into sliding and dancin. Nothing better than hoping your wheels grip around a corner at 20-25.

I can't slide to save my life. Need to learn ... to save my life. I went riding with a buddy of mine in Dallas late evening a few weeks ago. He lives in University Park and we had a long run well past SMU. The intersections are a bit scary, even late night though. Lots of good hills where I am, but I'd like a little more run out. I got into it because my 6 year old couldn't stop talking about skateboards. I figured, if he gets one, I get one.

Both boards are on Paris 180s and Otang 4Pres 80a. Creature of habit.

Ya my buddy has Paris on his deck and loves them. Only reason I say randal is bc they are made in the USA. Basically randal, Paris, bear are the top 3, but they are just cast aluminum. Those precision cnc'd ones are probably noticeabley diff. Though. So far my "sliding" is breaking out the back wheels some. No full on slides yet. I ALWAYS wear a helmet, but I'm waiting on some 187 knee and elbow pads. They really minimize the fear factor. I definitely want to try some 4 pres or durians.

Helmet is a must. Will probably invest in some additional padding soon. Gloves are a good idea, too.

I took some old moto gloves and industrial Velcro, ordered loaded palm, thumb, and finger pucks. Tough choice between landyacht switch 37 or a loaded tan tien. I want kick tails but like the concave on the switch. Back to topic, I'll probably get these little 2.0 speakers from best buy for 17$ and some mesh and hook them to a pack. Then I'll figure out weather to build smaller housings or find a different route.

Tried Coleman's today. Not a disaster but not good either. Need to go at least 15 on broken in wheels.

I wanted nothing to do with a kick tail. Not sure what I would do with it.
