    2002 SANTE Sound system HELP

I am in the military and F-18 electronics dont really transfer to boats and speakers so here it is. I have minimal stereo background and am redoing my entire boat. I hope some of you stereo gurus can help me out. this is what i have:
    (1) Memphis 500x1 2ohm class d sub amp
    (1) Memphis audio 500x1 mono sub amp
    (1) Kicker 800x4 (I think) thats for the stock speakers in the boat and came with it
    (2) Arc audio KS300.2 for tower speakers
    (1) Kicker L7 12 that i am building custom box under helm for
    (6) stock speakers and are staying there unsure of brand
    (2) NVS prodigy Tower speakers
    (1) alpine head unit
    (1) interstate 12v marine battery

My question is i know i need more batteries but what kind and how many and some sort of Perko switch/isolator/combiner setup but i have no clue what setup to run and I have the stock alternator? Also as far as fusing and battery distribution setup what will i need? Is an EQ a good thing Ill need? I realize this is kind of crazy any help i can get would be great im really in the dark here. Thanks in advance!

I use 2 marine deep cycles to run my boat, system, and LEDs with 1 yellow top Optima for reserve cranking. My Perko is wired where position 1 is reserve battery, position 2 is both deep cycles, switch also has an ALL position. You shouldn't need to upgrade your alternator. How many amps is it? EQ is a must for me. The Wetsounds WS420 is a popular one on here.

It's 4 total amps. None of which is very big. Are the 2 blue tops in series or parallel series would be 24v to the 2 position and 12v to the 1 posiition. I purchased a ws420 last night so I'm good there.

Do you know how many amps your alternator is? 70-100? I believe my blue tops are wired in + to + and - to -. I'll have to check for you

Depending on where you live you can just use two true deep cycle batteries.

Thanks man. She's cost me a few girlfriends and keeps me up late most nights, but I love her to death.

Just did some checking and yes, my deep cycles are in a series.
Gride is right. Some places you can get away with 2 deeps. I like having a reserve dedicated to cranking though.

Stock, your motor comes with a high output 70amp alternator.

I think im gonna go with the 3 like your talking about but heres a pic of my teak deck that i had rhino lined that might look sick on your boat since that thing sticks out with the black wrap plus it is maintenance free!!

I like that a lot and like that it's maintenance free even more! I'm probably going to re-wrap mine next season and go all white on the boat with black accents. Stormtrooper style. Might have to add that deck to the list as well.
