pulled this off WW. Tim White chimed in this morning about some of the new gear including the REV410
"I plan on doing a full press release soon with information and pictures but since there are so many waiting, I figured i would fill ya'll in.
Yes there is a REV 410 as everyone knows is coming. The REV 410 is using our “Rev Tec” technology as in the REV 8 and REV 10. The REV 410 will have dual 10 inch mid bass drivers with a large HLCD in the center like the PRO 485. The back end of the housing is the same as the PRO 485. So the size is the same with the exception of the larger front baffle to fit the larger drivers. Like the REV 10 and PRO 80 share the same back end of the housing but the REV 10 has a newer front baffle for the larger driver and the REV 8 and PRO 60 share the same back end as well. The REV 410 will ship with the new TC3 fixed clamps and offer lower hang height than a PRO 485 even with 10 inch drivers. You can also get the REV 410 with the TC3 swivel clamps if you want to remove the speaker or have a tower with some curve to it and make it fit on the curve.
400 watts RMS is the min so a SYN-4 is the perfect match for the REV 410 as it was with the PRO 485. However the REV 410 can handle a ton of power. We had a lot of customers running the dual SYN-2 amps to a pair of PRO 485 already, so the same goes for the REV 410, dual SYN-2 is you want to take it to the limit! But not a necessity, but they can take it.
The sound is truly unbelievable. The amount of mid bass and volume is just flat out insane. But like the other REV speakers, they are full and smooth and have such a sweet balance.
The REV 410 will be shipping the second or third week of april. We are taking pre orders now. REV 410 MSRP for fixed clamp is $1149 each and with swivel clamps is $1299 each.
As with any new product they always take longer than we would like. This has been a long process in design and tooling like the other REV’s and there are just some things we cannot control when it comes to getting raw materials and parts to build. We too had hoped to have these out at the first of the year for boat show season but it just didn’t work out, as we were delayed for this part and then delayed for that raw material etc...but trust me I am working on this daily and these will be ready very soon. They are worth the wait."Flip for show. Spin for dough
