    Where to mount my WS-420

I'm installing my stereo this weekend and I'm having problems finding a good location to mount my WS-410. It's going in a '03 210 SANTE. I want to mount it in the helm area. Any ideas? Thanks

Click on the link in my signature section labeled (our setup) to see mine. Used the driver side cubby hole. We have an 04.

This is just to check the placement and see if the rivets will hold up. 1/2in Starboard scrap with 10min of freehand work with a router and coated in black plasti dip. i'm thinking of doing the final version in fiberglass with the half round lip like the dash and wrapped in vinyl with a plate to cover so it matches the dash. So far it seems to work well, I'm thinking the space between the 2 might be a better spot for the heater controls that are by the throttle.

i have mine mounted to the left of the steering wheel, just under the factory clarion remote(2005 boat). it's nice b/c as soon as i throttle down i can turn the volume down easily. hitting mute kinda sucks b/c if you forget the 420 is turned up you get your ears blasted

I'll post one tomorrow. And be forewarned, don't use any mdf. You'll see why when I post a pic.

As far as convenience goes, this location is perfect. I can control it very easily after pulling a rider out of the water. I dont love how it looks, and would rather it be mounted where the warning sticker above is, but it was much less work this way

That's the same place mine is mounted. I'm having it mounted to a piece of hdpe since the cute little box a certain well established shop decided to use even though it's a boat.
