I want to replace my in boat speakers, looking for recommendations

I am going to start replacing the speakers inside my 2005 sante. The polks mm651um are starting to wear out. What would you guys recommend. Anyone tried tried wet sounds for in-boat speakers? I have used clarion and rockford fosgate in other boats and had good luck. I am looking for the best bang for the buck.

I don't know what others think but I'm a big kicker fan. Stillwater designs makes some great speakers for a good price. You might check out some of your local suppliers.

I just put some exile 6.5 coaxials in the bow in the stock location and they sound great. If you want to keep the stock appearence just mount the speakers with the grills from the backside.

yeah, you just unhook the old ones and hook in the new ones. I ran the clarions forever but upgraded to an arc audion ks300.4 to run all of the interior speakers. I have the bow and the more front ones off of two channels and the rear two off of the rear channels. Even utilizing the stock location behind the mesh it still is plenty loud. I figure Id have a freind or two punch a hole in the cone at some point and I wanted to keep the factory look.

Ok I have a total of 10 (6 in-boat and 4 tower) polk MM651um in the boat currently. I think I have three that are bad. Would I be better off replacing the tower speakers w/some new wet sounds? If so what model?
